Own your power. Welcome to the most robust climate action hub on the internet. If you’re concerned about the climate and have one hour a week to take _meaningful action_, you’re in the right place. No doomscrolling. No decision-fatigue. Just one clear Action Plan to accomplish in under an hour (we don’t do petitions or one-click emails). ### Individual action with outsized impact. People care deeply about climate change and want to make a difference, but often don't know where to start or how to get involved in a move-the-needle way. Let’s change that. Civic engagement is one of the most powerful ways that we, as individuals, can take action and catalyze widespread, _systems-level change. _ By equipping thousands of changemakers to effectively advocate for smart, equitable policies in the U.S. and their own regions, the Climate Changemakers’ network is not only getting real results but cultivating a modern way to be civically active on climate. Right now, only 1% of Americans engage in the policymaking process. That’s understandable when the government often seems big and complicated, icky, or simply outside of our control. But it doesn’t have to feel that way. And the truth is, the individuals who step up to effectively advocate for solutions have an _outsized influence_ on elected officials and decision-makers. We’re seeing it every week within our community! Climate Changemakers provides a clear roadmap for you to take action – advocate for bold, science-based, equitable climate solutions – then get on with your week. 60% of our community is new to “political action” and is leveling up all the time! All the easy-to-use online resources and weekly drop-in action events are free and the community is nationwide, with changemakers in every state. Together, we are creating transformational change in our states, cities, and our own backyards. Get in on the action! If you’re here, you’re ready. ###
